Dr. Beth Neuman, DVM
Dr. Neuman grew up on a farm in North Dakota. Surrounded by animals most of her life, it wasn’t until she adopted a cat with serious medical issues that she knew she had found her next challenge. Earning her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2004, she moved to Arizona to practice emergency medicine. Never one to settle down, she has been an associate, a medical director, and a two-time practice owner. Her experience spans general practice, urgent care, emergency, relief work, and even shelter medicine. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Mentorship, her joy is found in providing support to veterinary teams and enhancing their ability to offer excellent care to their patients.
Currently living in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Neuman is married with three children. Her house is filled with animals – two dogs, four cats, and a snake she inherited when her daughter left for college. She loves all that southern Arizona has to offer, from hiking in the desert, to biking the trails around Tucson, to the amazing food that the southwest has to offer. If she’s not on the phone with a mentee, you might find her curled up with a good book.
